Stefano Grivet-Talocia at the Politechnic University of Torino (Italy) has made available the IdEM package for identifying macromodels from frequency domain data and time domain data. Various versions of Vector Fitting is used in the identification process. Also is included routines for passivity checking and passivity enforcement.

ABB Electrical Machines (Switzerland) has developed the SoFT system for frequency domain measurements and macromodeling of devices and systems in the range 10 Hz – 10 MHz. Typical applications include transformers, motors, and networks. Vector Fitting is used in the modeling process.
